When shopping around for specialised products to take care of your hair loss, it’s sometimes worth taking a 180-degree turn and turning to something simple and taken from nature, where the real power lies. Here are 3 home remedies for hair loss that you can easily make yourself.

Homemade shampoo for hair loss
Commercial shampoos are often full of chemicals – silicones, parabens, fixatives, aggressive detergents and other synthetics, which can further weaken hair loss. If you want to strengthen your hair at every stage of its care, start with a cleanser. You can make a homemade shampoo for hair growth with:
- a handful of grated natural soap or soap flakes
- half a cup of nettle broth
- 1-2 tablespoons of aloe vera juice or natural honey in liquid form
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 1 egg
Pour the soap into the nettle broth. Heat the mixture over low heat to dissolve the soap. After it cools down, add honey or aloe vera juice, lemon juice and egg. Mix the whole thing thoroughly and you’re done. Make homemade shampoo for hair loss immediately before shampooing.
Homemade Conditioner for Hair Growth
Banana and avocado are perfect for a hair conditioner base due to their “mushy” texture and richness in valuable ingredients. Mash or grate a ripe avocado or banana. Add about 2 tablespoons of natural yoghurt, some lemon juice and olive oil as well as about 100 ml of green tea stock. Mix everything into a smooth paste, adding or taking away individual ingredients. The mixture should be fairly thick so that it holds well to your hair. This home-made hair loss treatment is a good way to strengthen and regenerate your hair. Use it after shampooing, massage into the scalp and hair, hold for a few minutes and rinse.
Home-made Hair Growth Serum
Homemade serums for hair growth and hair loss can be an excellent alternative to the ready-made hair masks and lotions available at the drugstore. We will use the power of herbs in it. Here are the ingredients for the serum:
- 2 tablespoons of rosemary herb
- 2 Tbs. field horsetail
- 2 Tbs. nettle
- 2 Tbs fenugreek seeds
- 3 Tbs. linseed oil
- 3 Tbs. aloe vera juice
Prepare a decoction from the herbs (cook herbs over low heat in a small amount of water for several minutes). Cool down, add oil and aloe vera juice, mix all together. Massage Serum into your scalp, wait about an hour, rinse your head.
